Diana Turner

Diana Turner grew up in Beverly Hills...Michigan. She started performing as a young ballet and tap dancer and progressed to choir nerd and theatre geek in high school. She is a full-time wife and mom of David (7) and Mary (8 1/2) and has a 3 month old Labradoodle puppy named Charlotte LunaHeart (but we just call her Luna). She is a part-time medical office administrator, staff singer at Christ Church Cranbrook, chorus member of the highly respected Rackham Symphony Choir, and does backup vocals for In The Flesh, Detroit’s Pink Floyd Tribute Band. Favorite roles include Mama Rose in Gypsy, Eva Peron in Evita, the Witch in Into The Woods, and most recently, Jenny in Company!  After pursuing some kind of theatre career in both Chicago and NYC, she came back to Michigan to finish school and start a family and finds doing local, professional theatre to be extremely rewarding. She had been hearing much about Slipstream through friends and fellow actors and jumped at the chance to work on a show with such a new and innovative group. For fun she watches Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes...over and over and over :) She would like to thank Dave, Mary and David for keeping her firmly grounded, while still allowing her to grow :)
