According to representatives of the American brand, the next-generation Ford Bronco SUV will be better in all respects than its competitors and in particular the Jeep Wrangler.
Have you heard that a completely new generation of the Ford Bronco SUV is coming soon? In fact, this car was about to debut, but a global pandemic called coronavirus greatly spoiled Ford's plans. According to representatives of the brand, the revived SUV will be shown in July.
According to Ford COO Jim Farley, the new product will "outperform the Jeep Wrangler in all respects."
It is no secret that the new Bronco will be aimed at competing with the existing Wrangler. Ford's previously published SUV patent applications showed that the car gets a removable roof and doors that Wrangler also has. In fact, patent documents for doors suggest that it will be much easier to remove them at Bronco. This, of course, may be one of the chips of the new Bronco, because of which buyers will choose it.
Of course, chic removable doors mean nothing if the Bronco cannot compete with the Wrangler off-road skill. To this end, we will also turn to the patent application for a complex active suspension system, which can increase or decrease the ride height, disconnect the cross beams.
As for other off-road capabilities, we know that the new Bronco will have an independent front suspension - the Jeep Wrangler has a solid axle. The machine will also have differential locks front and rear. This is a serious problem in the “off-road world,” and if Bronco still has the aforementioned active suspension, there is no reason to believe that it will not be at least equal to the Wrangler's suspension.
If Ford wants to compete with the Wrangler SUV, you need to set prices at the same level. This means that the starting price tag should be approximately $ 30,000, or 2,071,200 rubles for two-door SUV models, and $ 32,000 for the four-door version. The more off-road Wrangler Rubicon Recon now costs $ 50,000.
